For those Greenviewanites who no longer live here, it's raining again, and rain is forecasted for every day this week although Wednesday says 50% chance of rain. I bet that it will rain.
Crops were really progessing these past several days and now it appears that the unharvested fields around Greenview are in the minority rather than the previous majority of fields from about 10 days ago. Lots of farmers were working well into the evening hours.....wanting to get the crops out. It appears now that Christmas may come and go with crops still in the fields.
Let's hope for a bit more dry weather around Greenview. Ok all Greenviewanites .....

Christmas In Greenview Is This Coming Weekend.
Plan to visit the vendors who will be making their wares available at various sites. Maps will be available at Casey's and don't forget that vendors will also be at the golf course. The Greenview United Church will be serving a soup and sandwich luncheon.
The festival runs from 9 am to 2 pm all around town. And as a reminder, Athens In The Country is on November 28.

The Ptersburg Fireman are hosting a Chili and Soup Dinner which will benefit St. Judes in Nicholas Bennett's name. Nicholas continues his battle with Leukemia. Serving Chili, Soup, Hot Dogs, Grilled Cheese, Desserts ~~~ suggested donation $5.00 with free refills on Soup and Chili. Petersburg Firehouse, 5th & Taylor, from 11am to 2 pm & from 5pm to 7pm.
